Frontline Environmental uses Terrabase, a cloud based spatially-enabled environmental data management system, to add value in managing technical data for environmental services. It is a Sample and geosciences data management system which provides unprecedented control over environmental data.

- All samples obtain unique identifiers as recorded on barcodes; therefore samples are always traceable to a location, borehole and depth;
- All field data can be recorded in the field on a Psion or Touchpad field tool. Therefore, data can be sent to a central server and processed whilst the team continue to work in the field this optimizes field and reporting costs;
- TerraBase makes it easier to import analytical data from your lab than any other database by using a single rather than a multiple file format like others. The result? It works and it is fast;
- TerraBase maintains four levels of analytical data quality, not just one; lab data, QA/QC screened data, validated data and data usability; and
- All data in TerraBase can be geographically located, including documents.
